OSG USA, INC. has announced the expansion of its EXOCARB WXL-CR-EDS end mill series to now include inch size offerings. The EXOCARB WXL-CR-EDS is a series of high-performance carbide end mills for pre-hardened and hardened steels.

The EXOCARB WXL-CR-EDS end mill offers the following features and benefits:

• Ultra-fine micro-grain carbide offers greater wear resistant
• High-accuracy/high-precision geometry helps eliminate need for benching and rework for moldmakers
• Tools utilize thicker core diameters for greater strength and rigidity
• WXL coating provides +1,100 °C oxidation temperature and +3,100 Hv in hardness, improving wear resistance.
