United Alloy Chooses Dayton Region for New Manufacturing Facility

United Alloy announced plans today to expand its manufacturing operations, adding the company's fourth production facility. The new operations would be the company's first in Ohio. The expansion will create a minimum of 60 jobs, however the company is currently looking to hire up to 100 employees. This would represent $10 million in capital investment.

"Given strong demand for United Alloy products and services, we are excited to join the Dayton community with our new manufacturing facility," said Vanessa Dubick, CEO. "This is great news for our customers, employees and talent in the Dayton region, and we look forward to getting set up in Ohio."

A second generation, family-owned company, United Alloy is a leading brand in metal fabrication, welding and coating. Headquartered in Janesville, WI, United Alloy produces high quality leak-proof metal fuel tanks, reservoirs, skids, frames, chassis, trailers, heavy metal fabrications and complex weldments. United Alloy serves power-generation customers domestically and internationally.

United Alloy's Union facility will mainly manufacture data center fuel tank and engine room exhaust plenums within 182,000 sq. ft. of space. This added capacity will help meet customer needs in the data center construction sector.

"The Dayton region is unique in providing solutions to meet our current manufacturing demand: a skilled workforce, availability of industrial real estate to lease, proximity to a transportation corridor, a tax friendly economy and a high density of metal fabrication companies in the area allowing for additional overflow support," said Dubick.
