Patricia Ostrow, Founder
Patricia Ostrow originally from Paris, France studied Languages and Cinema at the Sorbonne University before managing a holistic rehabilitative clinic in Fort-lee, N.J. for fourteen years. While spending eight years with her family in Israel she studied transpersonal psychology and graduated with an emphasis in familly therapy from the Israel branch of the Californian Ontogonic Institute. A Milwaukee area resident for the past eleven years, she worked as a catering director at the Jewish Community Center of Milwaukee, supervising a staff of 23 before opening Funtastic Gymnastic in 2009. "Funtastic Gymnastic is close to my heart" says Ostrow who now spends her time between Milwaukee and Chicago, sharing that her youngest son was diagnosed at the age of three with various disabilities. In her free time Ostrow likes to learn about holistic forms of healing such as Chi Gong and Fen Shui as well as going to see foreign films. Patricia is the single mom of three grown up boys. Her youngest now 19 is attending a boarding school for special needs children in Baltimore, Maryland. Ostrow says he has been one of the catalysts in her opening Funtastic Gymnastic LLC in early 2009.
Julie Anich, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Julie graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1984. She has a variety of experiences with all age groups. She has been working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a public school setting since 1994. Julie has extensive training in Sensory Integration, Behavior Management, Autism, Fine Motor and Child Development. She is excited to combine therapy into a Gymnastic setting!
Laura Eichel, Certified Occupational Therapist
Laura Eichel graduated from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, WI with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She specializes in pediatric therapy including clinical and school based therapy. Clinical experiences includes success in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive and learning disabilities, Visual-perceptual delays, School based therapy, Behavior management programs, and sensory processing disorders.
Laura enjoys collaborating with parents and other disciplines for the benefit of the child. She looks forward to the opportunity of continuing to grow as a therapist at Funtastic Gymnastics.
Tracy Hoffman, Certified Occupational Therapist
Tracy Hoffman holds a Master degree in Occupational Therapy and has been working for over ten years with children with special needs particularly with an emphasis on children with Autism.
Tracy provides therapy at home and in school settings and has developed social skills groups with children on the autism spectrum. Tracy competed in gymnastics at Swiss Turner for seven years. She is the co Director of The Childhood Autism Treatment Team in Waukesha. In her spare time she enjoys reading and playing with her 2 young boys.
Andrea Coffman, Certified Occupational Therapist
Andrea Coffman is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 8 years of experience in pediatrics. Andrea grew up in Kansas and spent 14 years in competitive gymnastics and cheerleading. After graduating from the University of Kansas, she moved to the Chicagoland area with her husband and started working in school therapy. Andrea loves working with all ages of children and is excited to put her love of gymnastics and Occupational Therapy together! She currently lives in Grayslake with her husband and 5-year-old daughter.
