SPINNER North America, a provider of high-precision CNC machine tools and automation solutions, has announced the opening of its new Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center in Austin, TX. This strategic expansion underscores SPINNER's commitment to delivering unparalleled customer service, localized technical support, and rapid parts availability for North American machine shops.

The new 5,000-sq.-ft. facility is designed to enhance customer experience through hands-on machine demonstrations, in-depth technical training, and streamlined support services. As a central hub, it will house a broad inventory of SPINNER spare parts-maintaining up to $500,000 in stock-enabling faster response times and reducing downtime for machine shops and manufacturers.

"Opening our Austin Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center is a major milestone for SPINNER customers in North America," said Axel Spinner, CEO of SPINNER Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik GmbH. "This investment reinforces our dedication to providing cutting-edge CNC solutions backed by world-class service and technical expertise."

The Austin Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center will play a pivotal role in optimizing logistics and operations for SPINNER CNC machines imported from Germany via Houston's port. Before delivery to customers, machines will be configured, outfitted with accessories, and integrated with automation solutions at the facility. This streamlined process allows for a seamless transition from factory to customer's floor, helping ensure machines are ready to make parts immediately upon installation.

"Our goal is to be closer to our customers, both geographically and in terms of service," said Salim Awad, CEO of Spinner North America. "With this center we can significantly enhance customer support, provide immediate access to critical spare parts, and offer engineering expertise that drives profitability in manufacturing."

The Austin Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center will showcase a selection of SPINNER's advanced CNC solutions, including:

  • 5-Axis machining centers-High-precision systems designed for complex part production
  • Mill-turn and multiturret lathes-Versatile machines for high-efficiency operations
  • Automation and turn-key solutions-Customizable integrations for optimized workflows
  • Comprehensive service support-On-site engineering, application assistance, and rapid-response maintenance services.

Strategically located in Central Texas, the Austin Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center positions SPINNER North America at the core of a thriving manufacturing ecosystem. SPINNER offers a full-service approach-providing engineering support, sales assistance, and expedited parts delivery-all from a single location in Texas. This helps ensure machine shops and manufacturers responsive, localized service.
